As the world was still wondering “What exactly is a SPAC?”, the question on Clarity’s mind was, “How do we guide our clients to success through a SPAC?”
Enter ChargePoint — a long-term client of Clarity’s building the world’s leading EV charging network and growing rapidly. We’d driven everything from product news and corporate announcements, to the creation of thought-leadership content, market positioning and industry commentary, and were up to the challenge of supporting their first SPAC.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, lawyers and specialist advisors, we developed a robust strategy that adhered to the strict regulations around a SPAC. Our strong media relationships enabled us to provide our most trusted journalists with news under embargo, before executing a European-wide media relations campaign to get the news out far and wide.

Advertima is a Swiss computer vision company transforming the way retailers understand the in-store customer experience. Clarity was tasked with helping Advertima to create a messaging platform that would explain their technology and brand to international audiences.
Our strategy was simple: use the outputs of the messaging work to create a compelling narrative that would introduce them to key media with a €15m Series A funding round as the hook. However, at the last minute, an investor made a game-changing suggestion that turned the product into something far more visionary.
Currensea is a travel money debit card which enables customers to spend directly from their main bank account when abroad, without charges or fees. Launching its consumer offering in January 2020, three months before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down international travel, it had to pivot to survive. So the team created a card for small businesses who wanted to continue trading internationally as cost effectively as possible through this difficult period.
Clarity’s approach highlighted the product’s unique value add, generating awareness and leads for the company, which despite operating in the heavily affected travel sector, has not made any redundancies or put any staff on furlough, and continues to go from strength-to-strength. The campaign also made public the specific issues faced by the nation’s SMEs, showcasing Currensea as a trusted advisor for customers during a difficult time
